Network Operation Center
A network operations center or NOC is a centralized location where IT support technicians can supervise, monitor, and maintain client networks.
Many managed IT service providers (MSP) use these centers to ensure 24/7 uptime for all of their clients. An MSP maintains an in-house NOC, outsources a third-party provider, or chooses a mixed solution; nevertheless, NOC services, functions, and responsibilities stay the same.
An example of a NOC is Traffic Surveillance, whereby the traffic police and other departments keep an eye on petty to small to large crimes that take place. The NOC is now essential in the ever-increasing population, Intelligence, crime, vehicles, and much more. NIA software provides solutions around creating NOC & SOC for smart cities & Safe Cities.
